Vihan (DOB: 7/18/21) is a cheerful little boy who travels to school each day by tuk-tuk. He enjoys watching cartoons and spending time playing kabaddi with his friends. Cycling is one of his favorite hobbies, as well as playing with their cow and pet dog. Vihan can read simple Tamil poems and enjoys singing rhymes. He likes drawing pictures of houses, trees, and flowers. He shares a close bond with his grandmother and enjoys the noodles and macaroni she lovingly prepares for him. Vihan lives with his parents and grandmother in a small asbestos-roofed house. The family consists of five members. His father is a small-time private electrician who often travels outside the village for work, but his income is irregular. His mother stays at home due to health issues and is unable to take up employment. His 60-year-old grandmother cares for the children with affection and support.
