Cyndi (4/15/21)

Cyndi (DOB: 4/15/21) is an energetic and cheerful little girl with a radiant smile that lights up every room she enters. Friendly and outgoing, she enjoys meeting new people and effortlessly connects with those around her. Ever curious and eager to learn, Cyndi demonstrates a genuine excitement for discovering new things. She lives with her parents and her baby brother in a small house with an asbestos sheet roof. Additionally, three relatives live with them, making the home quite crowded. Throughout 2023, Cyndi’s family faced unimaginable hardship as they became victims of the Manipur communal riots, during which fire destroyed their home and all their belongings. Left with nothing, they were compelled to flee their hometown in search of safety and stability. For some time, they resided in a relief camp before ultimately relocating to Bangalore, where they have been striving to rebuild their lives from scratch. Her father is the family's sole breadwinner and her mother remains at home to care for Cyndi and their newborn. Life continues to be a daily struggle, but the family perseveres with hope and resilience.
