Shiv (DOB: 1/27/17) is truly a ray of hope for his family. He is the youngest of three children, with an elder brother and sister. Shiv loves listening to stories and shows great enthusiasm for learning. He excels in his studies and often secures the top rank in his class, bringing pride and joy to his family. His father works as a daily laborer, taking any available work to support the family. However, there are days when he is unable to find employment. Providing even the basic necessities, especially school fees and supplies, has become a constant struggle. Though it has always been his father’s dream to enroll his children in a good school, financial limitations have made it nearly impossible. At present, Shiv is the only child in the family who is attending school, while his elder siblings remain at home. Shiv dreams of becoming an army officer when he grows up. He enjoys spending time with his friends and easily mingles with his peers. In his free time, he loves playing kho-kho and is known to be a skilled player. His favorite meal is his mother's matar paneer (an Indian gravy with peas and cottage cheese). Obedient and well-mannered, Shiv carries a bright future within him. He needs a compassionate supporter who can extend a helping hand and nurture his dreams.
