Renee (DOB: 1/20/19) is a cheerful, bright, and loving young girl whose life is a powerful testimony of hope and redemption. Born in a region of India where a cultural preference for sons still exist, her biological parents, who already had three daughters, were so disappointed they decided to take the life of their new-born daughter. A concerned neighbor learned of the danger and immediately alerted a local pastor. Rushing to the family's home, the pastor found the one-day-old baby neglected and at risk. The family made it clear that if he did not take the child immediately, they would proceed with their plan. Without hesitation, he rescued the infant and cared for her until a permanent solution could be found. At that same time, another pastor and his wife were carrying the pain of multiple miscarriages. A few years earlier, they had lovingly adopted a baby boy. After hearing Renee's story and seeking God's guidance through prayer, they felt called to welcome her into their family. When Renee was just seven days old, they brought her home and legally adopted her, giving her the name Renee Miraclyn, a name that beautifully reflects the miracle of her life. In the years that followed, God blessed the family with two biological children of their own, creating a home filled with love, faith, and grace. Today, Renee is cherished as a beloved daughter and sister. Although Renee's father faithfully serves as a pastor, the family's income is modest and often insufficient to meet the needs of a household with four growing children.
