Radhika (8/31/16)

Radhika (DOB: 8/31/16) is a quiet and shy girl who speaks very little. She has a warm and friendly nature and is respectful and obedient toward her elders. She is the only child of her parents and is a bright student who performs well in her studies. Radhika’s life has been marked by deep tragedy from the very beginning. Her father suffered from neck cancer and passed away while she was still in her mother’s womb. Sadly, just seventeen days after Radhika was born, her mother also passed away due to complications following childbirth. Left orphaned at a tender age, Radhika was lovingly taken in and raised by her maternal aunt who has cared for her as her own daughter. Currently Rashida’s aunt and uncle provide for all her needs. Her uncle works as a daily wage laborer, while her aunt is a homemaker. It is extremely difficult to meet the needs of the family with their very limited and irregular income. They also have two sons of their own to care for. Although they deeply desire to give all the children a good education, they are unable to bear the financial burden. Radhika dreams of becoming a teacher when she grows up. She loves sports and is also a talented athlete. She is earnestly waiting for a kind and compassionate sponsor who can help lift her out of poverty and give her hope for a brighter future.
