Poovesh Pandiya (DOB: 9/26/20) is a joyful preschool student who loves dancing and dreams of becoming a police officer. He lives with his parents and nine-month-old sister in a humble house with brick walls, a palm-leaf roof, and a cement floor, and he fondly helps care for his baby sister. His father works as a seasonal agricultural laborer and takes up construction work when farm jobs are unavailable, while his mother stays home to care for the infant. The family depends on public taps for drinking water twice a week and uses a nearby pond for daily needs. A stream behind their house often overflows during heavy rains, forcing them to seek shelter in a government school. With irregular income and difficult living conditions, meeting daily and educational expenses is a constant struggle. Sponsorship through the childcare center would provide Poovesh with nutritious meals, healthcare, education, and moral guidance, nurturing his growth and helping him move confidently toward his dream.
