Mahir (DOB: 5/23/18) is a lively and friendly child who enjoys being around others. He enjoys making friends and spending time with his peers. He is fascinated by superheroes and often imitates them in his play. He also loves eating simple meals like steamed rice with dal curry. He has a younger sister, and his family depends on his father, who works as a shoemaker. Like many people in their community, his father stitches shoes on the pavement throughout the day. However, during the rainy season, work comes to a halt, leaving him without any income. As a result, meeting the family’s basic needs becomes a constant struggle. Mahir’s mother supports the family by helping with shoe stitching whenever she finds time. Despite working tirelessly, Mahir’s parents find it difficult to provide nutritious food and proper healthcare, making quality education seem like a distant dream. Mahir, however, is a bright and dedicated student who loves going to school. Unfortunately, his father is unable to consistently afford school fees and supplies.
