Joshubh (DOB: 11/6/17) is a gentle boy with a sweet smile, yet his life is far from easy. His father works as a daily laborer, but despite working hard, he is often unable to provide adequately for the family. There are many days when he has no work and no income at all. The family lives in a small, single-room home. Joshubh has two siblings, an older sister, Kriti, and a younger brother, Chirag. Providing basic necessities and school supplies has been a constant struggle for his parents. Joshubh has a strong desire to attend school regularly. With no one at home to guide him, he struggles with his studies. He loves playing cricket and never misses his Sunday community gathering — it’s the one place where he truly feels happy and at peace. Because of his family’s circumstances, Joshubh spends most of his time at home. He speaks very little and rarely mingles with friends. His mother is very devoted to her faith and worship of God.
