Doli (4/6/14)

Doli (DOB: 4/6/14) is a sweet, innocent, and lovable girl who is the second child in her family. She is very caring, responsible, and always willing to help her parents and siblings. She enjoys drawing and coloring, and she dreams of becoming a teacher when she grows up. Doli attends school regularly along with her elder sister, Varsha. She is a sincere and hardworking student who performs well in her studies. She especially enjoys science classes and loves listening to stories. Friendly by nature, Doli likes making new friends and spending time with others. Her father is suffering from serious health issues and is unable to work. Earlier, he worked as a laborer in a factory, but his illness has left him unable to support the family. Her mother now works as a daily wage laborer and is the sole earning member of the household. Doli has three younger siblings as well, two younger sisters and a little brother. Because of the family’s poor financial condition, only Doli and Varsha are able to attend school, while the younger children are currently unable to continue their education. With such a large family to care for, Doli’s mother finds it extremely difficult to provide even the basic necessities for her children. Although the parents deeply wish to give all their children a good education and send them to school, they simply cannot afford it.
