Arohi (DOB: 1/21/17) is a bright and intelligent girl and the eldest child in her family. She has two younger siblings, a brother and a sister whom she cares for deeply. Though an average student, she is sincere in her studies and enjoys going to school. She works hard and dedicates time to her learning, while also helping her mother with household chores during her free time. Uniquely, she has a fondness for bitter gourd fry. Arohi is active, playful, and loves spending time with her friends. Her father earns a living as a shoemaker, stitching shoes on the pavement throughout the day. Like many others in their community, his work is unstable, especially during the rainy season when he is unable to earn at all. Despite his hard work, his income is too limited to meet even the basic needs of the family. Although he dreams of providing his children with a good education, he struggles to afford school fees and supplies. The family also faces harsh weather conditions, with extremely hot summers and very cold winters, making it difficult to ensure their safety and comfort throughout the year.
