Aksara (3/18/21)

Aksara (DOB: 3/18/21) is a cheerful, friendly little girl who wins hearts with her warm smile and joyful spirit. She is currently recently started school and is quite excited. At home, she shares a special bond with her elder stepbrother and stepsister from her father’s first marriage, happily spending time playing and learning alongside them. Together, the family strives to build a home filled with love, care, and stability. Aksara’s father works as a daily wage laborer and occasionally drives an auto rickshaw to supplement the family’s income, while her mother stays at home caring for the children and managing the household. The family lives in a palm-leaf hut with a few rooms that is very vulnerable to flooding during heavy rains, often forcing them to seek temporary shelter. They have limited access to electricity and lack safe drinking water. Their income is insufficient to meet daily and educational needs. Despite these challenges, Aksara is a bright and determined student who loves learning and dreams of becoming a doctor to help others and uplift her family. Sponsorship would provide her with educational support, nutritious meals, healthcare, and a nurturing environment—giving her hope and the opportunity to pursue her dream.
