Tavin (6/6/17)

Tavin (DOB: 6/6/17) is a calm and reserved young boy who slowly opens up with a warm smile once he gets to know someone. Though gentle by nature, Tavin carries a quiet strength within him that speaks volumes for his tender age. Life has not been easy for Tavin. A couple of years ago, he lost his father to a sudden brain stroke. Then, in January 2025, tragedy struck again when his mother, overwhelmed by financial burdens, took her own life. In the face of such heart-breaking loss, Tavin and his younger brother, Kevin, were left without their parents. Today, Tavin is lovingly cared for by his maternal aunt, who, despite her own hardships, has embraced him and Kevin as her own. She and her husband—who sells vegetables and fruits for a living—work hard to make ends meet, but their income is very limited. The family of seven, including Tavin, Kevin, their aunt, uncle, cousin, and their aged grandparents, live together in a small home with two rooms. Tavin, still too young to fully grasp the weight of his losses, finds comfort and security in the loving arms of his aunt and family. He enjoys solving puzzles, playing cricket with friends, and cherishes the simple pleasure of eating dosa lovingly prepared by his grandmother.
