Naveen (11/20/17)

Naveen (DOB: 11/20/17) is the youngest of three children. His 12 year old sister, Gowri, is in the 8th grade, and his 11 year old brother, Harikrishna, is in the 6th grade. Naveen dreams of becoming a doctor and serving his community when he grows up. Naveen’s father works as a driver, earning just $3 a day, while his mother is a homemaker. They live in a makeshift shelter made from steel sheets, which offers little protection from harsh weather. Their home lacks basic necessities like clean water, sanitation, drainage and electricity. Despite these challenging conditions, Naveen's parents are deeply committed to providing their children with an education, hoping to offer them a better future than their own.
