Mannu (10/25/17)

Mannu (DOB: 10/25/17) lives with his elderly grandparents, who have become his only source of care and support. He has a younger sister and a younger brother. Unfortunately, his mother passed away while giving birth to his little brother. The loss of his wife deeply affected their father, a daily laborer, and he has not been in a stable state of mind since. His father lives separately and goes to work occasionally, and whatever little he earns goes for his own food and other expenses. He is not supporting the children in any way. This situation has forced the maternal grandparents to provide food, clothing, and shelter for the children with the sole earnings of the grandfather, who does loading and unloading work in a factory. Despite having no stable source of income, he continues to work hard and use his small earnings to care for Mannu and his siblings. Life is very challenging for them. Mannu, however, remains a gentle, calm, and obedient. He is a kind, understanding, and responsible child who has matured far beyond his years. He willingly helps his grandparents with household chores, cleaning their modest home and carrying water whenever needed. Having seen his mother suffer and struggle, he wishes to become a doctor one day so that he can care for patients and save lives. Above all, Mannu wants his grandparents to be happy.
