Kevin (DOB: 7/30/19) is an active, cheerful, and innocent little boy whose playful spirit brings light to those around him. His favorite pastime is playing cricket with his neighborhood friends, where he especially loves taking turns to bat. His smile and energy brighten even the most difficult days for his family. However, behind Kevin’s bright smile lies a story of deep loss and hardship. A few years ago, Kevin lost his father to a sudden brain stroke, a devastating event for someone so young. As if that loss wasn't enough, just a few months ago, tragedy struck again—Kevin's mother, overwhelmed by relentless financial struggles, took her own life. At an age when he should have been surrounded by comfort and security, Kevin and his older brother, Tavin, were suddenly left without both parents. Today, Kevin is lovingly cared for by his maternal aunt, a kind and selfless woman who, despite the many challenges she faces, opened her heart and home to Kevin and his brother. She and her husband, a humble vegetable and fruit vendor, work daily to provide for their growing family. Yet their income remains very limited, stretched thin across seven family members—including Kevin, Tavin, their uncle, aunt, cousin, and elderly grandparents—all sharing a modest two-room home.
